290 Victory Dr.  Park Forest, Illinois 60466(708) 942-5021

Please take note:  Sometimes, the brick and mortar may be inaccessible for walk-in inquiries. In the event that this happens and you drop by Nabada during listed business hours, Nabada IS NOT CLOSED. I am available to address any questions or concerns via phone (708) 942-5021.  I make it a point to be mindful of the impact of my carbon footprint on our environment, so if there are no appointments scheduled for the day or the day finishes early, I will not open and / or linger around and waste resources (electricity, heat, etc.). If a true closure happens (i.e. emergency, illness, inclement weather, etc.), I will post it here on the website and on social media platforms. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Late Policy:

Nabada Massage requires a 24 hour notification for a cancellation.  All payments associated with your appointment are non-refundable but transferable to another date.  The appointment must be canceled prior to the 24 hour cancellation deadline to avoid being charged a  $25 fee. This policy applies to gift card recipients as well.  For consultations - the refundable $25 deposit will NOT be refunded. All no call/no shows and appointments canceled outside of the policy window are subject to being charged the $25 fee. The need to reschedule does happen, but please keep in mind that the time is reserved for you and when it isn't fulfilled, leaves an unused appointment slot that cannot always be filled at the last minute.  For this reason, any appointment that is rescheduled more than once will result in a $25 fee. Any outstanding fees must be paid before scheduling any future massage sessions.

Late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled massage appointments.  However, the best effort to accommodate a partial or full appointment will always be an option at the discretion of the massage therapist and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.

In the event that you need to cancel, reschedule your appointment outside of the cancellation cut off time, or are running late,  CONTACT NABADA DIRECTLY. DO NOT SEND MESSAGES THROUGH SQUARE OR RESPOND TO THE AUTO GENERATED COMMUNICATIONS THAT ARE SENT BY SQUARE.  TO ENSURE THAT YOUR MESSAGE HAS BEEN RECEIVED, TEXT OR CALL (708) 942-5021. Thank you.

Hi! My name is Erin and I am the founder and owner of Nabada Massage. In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, I have a B.A. in Complementary and Alternative Health, am a trained birth/ death/ fertility doula, certified sound healer, certified integrative reflexologist and certified phlebotomist trained in I.V. insertion; having over 25 years of healthcare experience under my belt. In those years, I have witnessed and learned a tremendous amount; allowing me to offer a comprehensive and tailored approach with clients.

I am a firm believer in prevention when it comes to health;  being proactive instead of reactive. Western medicine has programmed us to believe that there is no other way but through pharmaceutical usage or invasive surgeries. I want to help change that narrative. There is balance in everything and in healthcare, that balance is often referred to as Integrative Medicine.  Massage therapy is one of many integrative and effective ways to manage your health - mind, body and spirit. I intend to use my talents to help each and every person that I encounter obtain their version of optimal health.

Currently, I am pursuing a doctorate in Integrative Medicine which includes herbology; with an emphasis on African herbalism.  I love obtaining knowledge and passing it on.  Being a holistic care provider, educating is one of the largest facets of my duties.  A quote by one of my most revered memoirist and poet sums it up:

'When you learn, teach, when you get, give.'

-Dr. Maya Angelou

If I help just ONE person, I have made an impact- that's how I measure success.

I love animals and I'd have a house full if I could! Since that isn't possible, donating to the shelters that care for them and asking others to do the same is my go to. The South Suburban Humane Society is in need of donations for the site (food, litter, blankets, etc.). Please find it in your heart to help out.  If you donate, please email your purchase receipt to me to take advantage of a FREE 30 minute Guided Meditation session!

This is one of the questions that I am frequently asked. Unfortunately, I don't, but continue reading to gain insight as to why most massage therapists DO NOT accept health insurance.  It's not that we don't want to, but it can be quite complicated; especially for small massage businesses. Those that do accept it either work under another licensed professional (think chiropractor), have been in business for YEARS or has a huge practice.
